On Friday my dad and I got a call from Skip Winfree our friend in Alaska. Skip told us to expect a call from a close friend of his from school. His name is Henry Polic. How cool is that Henry calls my dad and said he would love to take me and my dad out to lunch on Monday.
So today I got up early and worked on my homework until 9:30 when I had a conference call with my teacher in Oregon. After my conference call I got ready so that we could go meet Henry.
Henry has been an actor for 40 years or so. He had a role in a show in the 80's called Webster. My dad said he loved that show. He has been in lots of other TV shows, Movies, and Theater. He took us to Mo's. It is a great place in Toluca Lake. They had great hamburgers with a Hamburger bar. It is just down the street from WB Studios so lots of people from the industry eat there.
Henry had lots of advice for me. The thing that stuck in my head the most was that he said for me to stay true to myself and that there will be more failure than success. I had a great time with Henry and I think we will have lunch together many more times.
Tonight My dad and I drove out to Riverside to a Max International meeting. We picked up Craig Stanton a famous race car driver on the way. The meeting was very cool. I got to see the founder of the company Steven Scott and he told us all about the products. It was fun spending time with Craig. I remember when we were back at Daytona races last year. I saw Craig and he told me it was OK if I did not want to go karts anymore. He told me to follow my dreams and that is what I am doing. I love working really hard at acting and singing. I know that I may fail 10 times before I win but that is what it takes.
