Today was the first day of the commercial shoot. We arrived at the parking lot where they had breakfast for us, we got to choose from the menu and they would make it fresh. Then we hopped in a shuttle van that took us to where wardrobe was. The principals (that is the lead kids in the Commercial) had dressing rooms to get changed into our clothes. There where 19 extra kids for the commercial. They just come in there own clothes they don't get a trailer or wardrobe. After we where done changing we hopped in the shuttle van again and went to the actual set. It is in front of a High School, it is an old really cool looking school. When we got there they had us do our school work first. If it is a school day you have to do three hours of school work. They have what they call studio teachers that make sure we are working and have what we need.
It was raining outside pretty hard so we were trying to work around the rain. We would go outside when it wasn't raining or just sprinkling and try and get some filming done. It was really cool. They feed us a great lunch, and we continued to work around the rain. We finished up about 5:30 and then got our call time for the next day at 6:15.
The next morning My Mom and I headed out about 5:30, luckily we did not live far from where we were shooting. We got there and ate breakfast, changed into wardrobe, no school today cause it was Saturday. Then we started working. The weather was nicer to us today. We finished up about 3:45.
I met some really neat kids that have done some really cool stuff. They were all really nice to me. We exchanged phone numbers and are going to stay in touch. I am glad I got this chance to do this and hope many more great things will come my way. I am grateful for my family to support me in this and this blessing in my life. What a DREAM!!!
