I have been busy this week and have not been very good at writing but I am trying to get caught up and keep you informed of what has been happening. On Monday I had my Actor show case with Deborah Dion, that went really good. We all performed our scenes in front of her and then she gives us feed back and had us change things up to see if we can take direction. My scene went really well. It is good for us to get in front of casting directors cause if we audition for them again they will remember seeing us and the more they see us it will increase our chances of being cast in a project that they are doing.
I had an audition on Tuesday for a green company that is doing a commercial. I have also been busy with acting class and did a mock audition last night which was fun. A mock audition is where they bring in a casting director and you do a cold read in front of them and they feel out a paper rating you so that you know what you need to work on. Last night was my first one, the casting director was Marlo Tiedo, she does casting for the show Ghost Whisper and other projects. She was really nice, we had a great conversation. I received goods, very goods, and got the only excellent of the night. So I was happy and felt things went well.
I will keep working hard so that I can continue to follow my DREAMS!!!
