Today I had private acting class with Diane. The first thing we did was some technics that she has been developing in the past fifteen years. Some of the technics are tongue twisters, Deep breathing, different styles of voice and body movement. After that she had me look over a YAMAHA piano commercial, then I preformed it for her. She corrected me in my slate, (a slate is where you state your name and age) she gave me a secret that will catch the casting directors attention. We also went over some other scripts, to practice my cold reading. She said that you should read the cold read out  loud twelve times, this helps you to be familiar with the script. I really enjoyed my time with Diane. I feel she will help me become a better actor so I can be the best of the best!!!!

Today I had my first acting class in Burbank, with Diane Christiansen. Diane has worked with a lot of great actors and actresses, like Merv Griffen, Angelina Jolie, Corry Feldman, Wayne Newton, and Siegfried and Roy to name a few. I am taking the class called Biz kidz with about 10 other kids. The first thing we did in class was work on getting connected to the actor or actress that we were working with. Then we received a script that we practiced with our partner. After we felt we had enough practice we preformed the scene in front of Diane. The things she felt we needed more practice on was, eye contact,projecting out, and she talked about the fourth wall. The fourth wall is an imaginary wall in front of us. The fourth wall basically puts you in an imaginary box so that no one else is there except you and your partner. At the end of class she gave us a script for homework that we need to have them memorized before our  next class. I also need to set some goals that I want to accomplish as a actor and a mission statement. I am one more step closer to my hopes and DREAMS!!!

Today I had my first official coaching with JET. We started first by picking a couple of new songs that he thought would work. Our goal is to take a song  and turn it into a new song for me, a new product. We also worked on some breathing technics that will help me to hold the notes longer. JET is going to teach me how to play on a keyboard. JET is doing some research to see what will be a good keyboard for me to get. Just like with anything that you want to be good at, you need to practice everyday, that is why it is important for me to have my own keyboard. JET gave me some good tips like to always connect or sing to the person in the back of the room, look into the camera, and make eye contact. JET gave me some great tips to help me remember the words to songs. One way is to find the key words in the sentences and that will  help you remember the rest of the words. My assignments this week are to practice my breathing, learn the words to the two songs we are working on, and find four new songs. Thanks JET for helping me fulfill my DREAMS!!! 

Tonight My Mom and I went to a  private screening of the new Walt Disney movie  "Bolt" !  We arrived at Walt Disney Studios at 6:15 and the guard took us to the theatre.  As we were walking to the theatre we walked past the set of Brothers and Sisters, Samantha Who, Private Practice and many more. There were about 50 people that were invited to the private screening. Once we were inside and waiting for the movie to start they told us we were waiting for a special guest. The special guest was Amanda Bynes from "Big Fat Liar" and more recently in "Hairspray". We really liked the movie, it was funny and very entertaining. My favorite Character was the Hamster Rino. It is a movie that is fun for the whole family. It is also in 3-D. Next time I am at Walt Disney Studios I would like to be attending a private screening of a movie I am in, one of my DREAMS!!!!

 

 

 

 

Today was a very busy day. In the morning I had an appointment with Actor Access to do what is called an Actor Slate.  In acting slating is where you state your name and age. This Actor Slate was a little bit different in that it is was a 20-30 minute interview. After they do the interview Actor Access takes the best of it and puts together a one minute slate, this helps casting directors to know what I sound like and look like on camera, plus helps them get to know me better.

In the afternoon I had a audition for a McDonalds  commercial, I was there with my Dad. The first thing we did was go with a photogropher  to get pictures taken of me. After that I was called into a room with three other kids, we had to slate, say what our favorite animal was and do a little dance move. The part I was trying out for was Little slugger, I had to dress like I was going to baseball practice. Being in a commercial is one of my DREAMS!!!!

 

 

 

Today My Dad gave my Mom and I a lesson in geography. Since we have always lived in a small town, we needed to learn how to get around in the city with more than two freeways. My Dad gave us addresses that we needed to go to today, we had to look them up on the map and figure out the best route to get there and take traffic into consideration.

One of our stops today was at Mavrick Artist, Mavrick Artist is the Agency that signed me. My Mom was able to meet Brad Diffley, Brad is the owner of Mavrick Artists. We also meet with Andre to start doing some print work. One more step towards my DREAMS!!!!!

 

 

Today I was able to meet an incredible guy by the name of John Toben he goes by JET. He has been in the music industry since the 60's. He has a recording studio at his house and has worked with a lot of famous musicians like the Osmond Family. JET has offered to work with me and help me produce an album. This week my assignment was to go and find ten songs that I like, to start working with. JET is going to set up what he calls Track Dates. A Track Dates is where I go to places and sing for people. JET feels that this will help me get experience and feel comfortable in front of crowds. Another piece of the puzzle falls into place to help me fulfill me DREAMS!!!!!!!

 

 

Today we arrived at our new home in Burbank, California. I like to call it T.M. D. the terrible moving day! I am not much for moving since I never have in all my ten years. I probably went twenty plus times on the elevator, carrying boxes, furniture, and other necessities. After we got all of our stuff moved in, it did not take us long to unpack. Since it is a one bedroom apartment we did not bring tons of stuff. I look forward to this adventure. I am ready to work hard and achieve my goals and DREAMS!!!!!
